Services Offered are as follows:
Amb club subscription - 80.00 dollars a year covers an
ambulance ride for you and anyone living in your household for
more than six months. This also includes the ALS unit known as
West Shore ALS. Your incident must be deemed an emergency. For

CPR/AED/ First Aid Training- These courses are through the
American Heart Association. Training can be for a community
member just wanting the knowledge to be able to save someone's
life to a health care provider. We will teach a variety of
groups such as Boy Scouts, doctor's office employees, swim
clubs, camps, etc. For pricing and scheduling call

Free Blood Pressure Checks - We here at SAEMS love to serve
our community not just in lifesaving skills but in prevention
and education. This service is available to any business
owner, activity director, etc.We will come to your
establishment for approx. 2 hours and take blood pressures of
either your employees and customers or just your employees. We
will also give out free items. If you would like to schedule a

Community Safety Program (ages 3 to kindergarten) - This a
program offered to area day cares to teach the children
practical and effective community safety. This program
includes 2 EMT's with ambulance , 1 medic unit, free coloring
books, crayons, community safety certification and reflectors
for shoe laces.
Program is as follows:
Intro
10-15 min lecture in community safety making sure all of the
kids understand.

Ride Along - This service is available to anyone and everyone
over the age of 16 to ride on our ambulance for a day. This is
good for anyone thinking about the medical field. We have a
large service area and get a variety of calls. Call to

Junior Member program - This program offers purpose and builds
skills in our community youth. Youth must be 14 to join and 16
to ride on an ambulance. Note -any youth younger then 14 can
become an associate member which means they can not be at the
EMS station without their guardian. All youth members are
welcome to participate with different events and some

Standby - Shippensburg area EMS is available for private
standby on a first come first serve basis. A need for this
service would be an Athletic competition and/or any event.
Each ambulance will be staffed with 2 PA DOH Certified EMT-B's.

We also have a TOYS for TOTS collection for the area children.
